It's getting that time of year again
and almost time for our
Rock on the Rec 2026
The event is absolutely free
but you will need money for the many stalls,
food and drink and of course the fun fair
We have now confirmed this year's bands
In alphabetical order they are:

We have food and drink stalls returning this year:
Pizza, Mexican, Burgers, Crepes and Donuts,
Loaded Fries
Beer Tent, Cocktail Bar
and of course the Ice Cream Van
Charity Stalls, Craft Stalls etc
As stalls join us we will update
The Fun Fair for the kids to enjoy (whatever age)
will be back again

Our Lion mascot will be out and about during the day, keep an eye out and come and say hello.
Here is our Mascot at the opening of a previous year's event with the Mayor, making a smoothie with a bike and helping out at one of the stalls at previous events.
He could pop up anywhere.
Come along and enjoy a great family outing with a wide variety of music and something to do for all the family.
Bring a chair or picnic blanket so that you can sit and enjoy the entertainment, do a bit of shopping for that unusual item, enjoy the food and drink on offer, take part in a game or tombola.
Chat with stall holders, charity representatives or the organisers on the Lions stalls.
Make sure you bring the sunshine with you
which will make a great day even better.
Don't forget the sun cream to protect your skin.
