Plans are well under way for this year's

Rock on the Rec

The event is absolutely free

but you will need money for the many stalls,

food and drink and of course the fun fair

 

We now have the bands confirmed

Some old and some new friends

We are looking forward to listening to their music

Crepes and Donuts

Mexican Food

Pizza

 

Ice Cream

Beer Tent

Holy Spirits Bar

Tea, Coffee and Soft drinks

also available at the food stalls

Fun Fair for the kids to enjoy (whatever age)

Plenty of craft stalls plus charity stalls with a chance to win a prize on their tombola or games

Informational stalls

Face Painting

​

and much more

I am sure our Lion mascot will be out and about during the day, keep an eye out and come and say hello.

Here is our Mascot at the opening of a previous year's event with the Mayor, making a smoothie with a bike and helping out at one of the stalls at previous events.

He could pop up anywhere.

​

Come along and enjoy a great family outing with a wide variety of music and something to do for all the family.

​

Bring a chair or picnic blanket so that you can sit and enjoy the entertainment, do a bit of shopping for that unusual item, enjoy the food and drink on offer, take part in a game or tombola. 

​

Chat with stall holders, charity representatives or the organisers on the Lions stalls.

​

Make sure you bring the sunshine with you

which will make a great day even better.

​

Don't forget the sun cream to protect your skin.
